- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. flour
- 10 plums
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Put the butter in a bowl that has been rinsed out with very hot water, so the butter will soften slightly.

2Add 1/2 cup sugar and 1 egg and stir briskly until well mixed.

3Add the second egg and beat until light.

4Add the flour and salt; mix well and spread in deep pie plate or casserole.

5Arrange halves of plums, skin side down, on the batter and sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.

6Bake at 400° for 30 minutes.

7Serve plain or with whipped cream to which a little fruit syrup has been added. Serves 6.
