- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. white vinegar
- pepper
Directions

1Soak cabbage 1 hour, all covered in cold water.

2Drain cabbage and cook it covered with other ingredients, except vinegar and the sugar.

3Cook until tender.

4Add vinegar and sugar and cook 15 minutes more.
