- 1 medium red cabbage, shredded
- 1/3 c. sugar or equivalent artificial sweetener
- 1/3 c. white or cider vinegar
- 3/4 tsp. salt (optional)
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Coat the inside of a large Dutch oven with nonstick cooking spray.

2Saute onion and apple until tender.

3Add all remaining ingredients.

4Cover and cook until tender, about 1 hour.
