  • 14 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 catfish fillets
  • vegetable oil (for deep frying)

Directions

    Mis cornmeal, flour, salt, garlic powder and the peppers together.

    Dredge fish fillets in flour mixture, shaking off excess.

    Heat oil to 375 degrees.
