Ginger Ale Mint Cooler

- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. chopped fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 c. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 (33.8 oz.) bottle ginger ale, chilled
Directions

1Combine water, sugar and mint in small saucepan.

2Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves.

3Remove from heat and strain mint; discard leaves and chill.

4To serve, combine chilled mint mixture, lemon juice and ginger ale.

5Stir well. Pour over crushed ice or regular ice cubes.

6Makes 6 servings.
