- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 4 Tbsp. mild flavored molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Mix 1 cup flour with dry ingredients.

2Mix 1 cup flour and liquid ingredients.

3Mix well.

4Make 2 balls and chill.

5Make small balls and roll in granulated sugar.

6Place on ungreased baking pan.

7Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
