  • 2/3 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. molasses
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. soda

Directions

    Cream Crisco and sugar together.

    Mix the remainder of the ingredients together with the sugar and Crisco.

    Roll into balls, size of walnut, and dip in sugar.

    Bake at 375° for 12 minutes. Cookies will rise, fall and crack.
