  • 2/3 cups Canola Oil
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 4 Tablespoons Molasses
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon, Ground
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon Ginger, Ground
  • Sugar For Dipping

Directions

    Mix oil with sugar, add egg and beat well. Stir in molasses.

    Sift dry ingredients together and add to egg/molasses mixture.

    Form balls ~ drop and roll in sugar.

    Bake in a 350F oven for 10-12 minutes

    Depends on if you want them soft or crunchy...I like them sorta crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside so I take them out around 10 minutes. 12 minutes will give you a Ginger Snap.
