- 1 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. softened butter
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
Directions

1In large bowl, combine first 4 ingredients with mixer.

2Mix remaining ingredients separately, then combine with first mixture. Chill at least 1 hour.

3Roll into 1-inch balls and coat with sugar. Bake at 350°, 2-inches apart on cookie sheet until light golden color and still a little gooey.
