- 1 1/2 c. margarine, melted
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour (approximately)
- 4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 4 tsp. ground ginger
Directions

1Mix margarine, molasses, sugar and eggs.

2Beat well.

3Add dry ingredients.

4Mix until all ingredients are moistened.

5If dough is not stiff enough, add more flour.

6Refrigerate dough several hours or overnight.

7Make into small balls and roll in granulated sugar.

8Do not flatten.

9Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 8 to 10 minutes in a 375° oven.

10Store in airtight container.
