  • 3/4 c. margarine
  • 1 c. packed brown sugar (lite)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. sorghum
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves

Directions

    Cream margarine and brown sugar. Beat in egg and sorghum. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and spices.

    Combine with creamed mixture.

    Drop heaping teaspoons on greased cookie sheet.

    Sprinkle with sugar.

    Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes, until set and slightly brown.
