- 1 c. butter or oleo
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. molasses
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Cream together butter and sugar.

2Add eggs and molasses.

3Sift dry ingredients together and add to butter mixture alternately with water.

4Spread onto 2 jelly roll pans, 11 x 16-inch.

5Bake in 350° oven for 25 minutes.

6Frost and cut into squares.
