  • 1 cup Land O Lakes Butter, softened
  • 1 Land O Lakes Egg
  • 3 tablespoons dark corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • Sugar

    Heat oven to 375F.

    Combine sugar and butter in bowl.

    Beat at medium speed until creamy.

    Add egg, corn syrup and vanilla.

    Continue beating, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.

    Add all remaining ingredients except additional sugar; beat at low speed until well mixed.

    Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll balls in sugar.

    Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
