  • 8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 4 oz. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. candied ginger
  • Waverly Wafers or other mild cracker
  • sliced almonds, optional as frosting when ready to serve

Directions

    Sliver or mince candied ginger.

    Cut cream cheese in chunks and set aside to soften.

    Mix 3 ingredients together and let stand in refrigerator 2 to 3 days to mingle flavors.

    Serve in ball, or flattened ball, frosted with sliced almonds if desired.

    Waverly Wafers or any slightly sweet, non-salty crackers to accompany. Good with white wine.
