Ginger-Garlic "Chicken"

  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/3 c. chicken broth or 1 chicken cube mixed with 1/3 c. hot water
  • 1/3 c. minced fresh ginger root
  • 4 small cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. sesame seed, toasted
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. dark sesame oil
  • 3/4 balsamic or white vinegar
  • 1 lb. fry chix

    Combine soy sauce and next 6 ingredients into an 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.

    Add chix, turning to coat; cover and refrigerate 2 hours (turning occasionally).

    Remove chix from marinade.

    Place marinated chix on lightly greased cookie sheet or pan.

    Broil 7 minutes on each side or until done.
