- 4 medium pears, peeled, cored and halved
- 1/4 c. orange juice
- 8 gingersnap cookies, crushed
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. walnuts, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- whipped cream for topping (optional)
Directions

1Place pears cut-side up in baking dish.

2Drizzle with orange juice.

3Sprinkle with mixture of cookies, sugar, nuts and butter. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes, until pears are tender.

4Serve warm with whipped cream topping, if desired.
