  • 12 ounces ginger ale
  • 4 ounces white wine
  • 1 pear, halved and cored
  • 1/8 sheet philo dough
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 3 ounces chocolate sauce

    Bring ginger ale and white wine to 160 degrees F in medium saucepan.

    Add pear and poach for 15 to 20 minutes until the pear is fork tender.

    Cut philo in half and brush with butter, sprinkle with sugar, and bake until golden brown.
