- 3 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 2 Tbsp. ginger
- 3/4 c. margarine
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. molasses
Directions

1Mix flour and spices into shortening and sugar.

2Add eggs.

3Mix in molasses and drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with spoon, sprinkle with sugar.

4Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 375°.

5Cool a minute before removing from pan.
