- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. molasses sorgham
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp soda
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp clove
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugar together; add egg, molasses.

2Sift dry ingredients together and add all together. Form into 1 in. balls and roll in granulated sugar.

3Bake at 350° 12-12 min.

4They burn easily, don't over cook. If dough is too sticky, put in regrigerator.
