- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. light Brer Rabbit molasses
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 Tbsp. ginger
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl.

2Add eggs and molasses and beat together for one minute.

3Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk.

4Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.

5Bake in moderate oven of 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.

6Serve with whipped cream or a nondairy topping.
