- 2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 eggs, unbeaten
- 1 c. buttermilk or 1 c. milk with 1 tsp. vinegar
Directions

1Cut margarine into the flour and sugar.

2Set 1 cup of the mixture aside.

3Add other ingredients and mix well.

4Stir in milk lightly.

5Pour into a 9 x 13-inch ungreased pan.

6Sprinkle with reserved mixture. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes (or until done). Top with Cool Whip.
