- 1 (14.5 oz.) pkg. gingerbread mix
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 3 eggs, divided
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 4 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In a medium bowl, combine gingerbread mix, butter and 1 egg.

3Spread mixture evenly into 2 greased 8-inch square baking pans.

4In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, remaining 2 eggs and confectioners sugar.

5Spread evenly over gingerbread layers.

6Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until slightly browned.

7Allow to cool completely in pans.

8Cut 1 x 2-inch bars. Store in airtight container.

9Yields about 2 dozen bars in each pan.
