- 12 cup vegetable oil
- 12 cup sugar
- 12 cup molasses
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 12 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Directions

1Mix together applesauce and sugar until smooth.

2Stir in molasses and egg yolk.

3Combine flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and nutmeg.

4Mix into dry ingredients.

5Cover and chill for an hour.

6Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

7Roll out dough (1/4 inch thick) on lightly floured surface.

8Cut with cookie cutters.

9Place cookies 2 inches apart and bake for 8-10 minutes.
