- 1 34 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 34 teaspoon ginger
- 14 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 egg, beaten
- 23 cup milk
- 14 cup brown sugar
- 14 cup cooking oil
- 14 cup molasses
Directions

1Grease twelve muffin cups or line with paper cups.

2Stir together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger and baking soda in medium size mixing bowl.

3Make a well in the center.

4In another bowl combine together the egg, milk, brown sugar, oil and molasses.

5Add all at once to the dry mixture.

6Stir just until moistened.

7The batter should be lumpy.

8Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling each 2/3 full.

9Bake in a 400F for about 20 minutes or until golden.

10Cool in muffin cups on a wire rack for 5 minutes.

11Remove from muffin cups and let them cool.
