Gingered Chicken Bake

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. sage
  • 2 whole chicken breasts
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine, divided
  • 3 large potatoes, cubed
  • 1 medium onion, sliced thin
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 pkg. frozen French-style green beans, thawed and drained or 1 can green beans, drained

Directions

    Mix first 4 ingredients and coat chicken.

    In pan brown chicken in 2 tablespoons of margarine.
  3. 3
    Remove to 2 quart casserole.

    Add remaining margarine to pan and brown potatoes and onion.

    Stir in reserved flour then water.

    Cook and stir until thickened.

    Stir in beans.
