- 1 1/2 lb. frozen, raw, medium shrimp
- 4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp. finely chopped ginger root
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. sweet white wine
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. thickly sliced green onion
Directions

1Peel shrimp under running water and devein.

2Heat water to boiling.

3Add 2 tablespoons salt and shrimp.

4Cover and heat to boiling.

5Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.

6Drain.

7Place shrimp in 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch pan.
