- 4 Tbsp. molasses
- pinch of salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. each: cloves, ginger and cinnamon
Directions

1Cream together oleo and sugar; add molasses and egg.

2Beat well.

3Add dry ingredients; blend well.

4Roll in small balls; dip in sugar.

5Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 15 to 18 minutes.

6Dough works better if refrigerated for an hour.
