  • 1 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ginger

Directions

    Cream sugar, shortening and eggs and add molasses.

    Add combined and sifted dry ingredients.

    Roll into small balls dipped in sugar.
