- 1 1/2 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. cloves
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. ginger
Directions

1Cream the first 4 ingredients together.

2Sift the flour and add the rest of the dry ingredients.

3Slowly mix the flour into the creamed mixture and stir until well blended.

4Make balls the size of walnuts and roll each in granulated sugar.

5Place on a greased cookie sheet.

6Bake at 350° for about 12 minutes.
