- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. oil
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
Directions

1In a mixing bowl, combine about 1/2 of the flour and all of the remaining ingredients.

2Beat with electric mixer on medium to high speed until thoroughly combined.

3Beat in remaining flour by hand. Shape dough into 1-inch balls.

4Roll in sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.
