Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 2/3 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. oil flavoring (any flavor)
  • 6 drops food coloring (any color)
  • powdered sugar

Directions

    Combine sugar, syrup and water.

    Cook to hard ball stage, 300° on candy thermometer. Take off heat. Add food coloring and flavoring. Quickly pour into a pan, well dusted with powdered sugar.

    Let harden.

    Turn pan upside down on waxed paper and hit bottom of pan.

    Candy will fall out and break into pieces.
