- 1 c. whole almonds
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- salt
Directions

1Combine almonds, sugar and butter or margarine in heavy skillet.

2Cook over medium heat stirring constantly, until almonds are toasted and sugar is golden brown, about 15 minutes.

3Stir in vanilla.

4Spread nuts on aluminum foil; sprinkle lightly with salt.

5Cool; then break into 2 or 3 nut clusters with forks.
