- 2 large red cooking apples
- 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. sugar
Directions

1Wash apple, but do not peel.

2Core; cut apples in 1/2-inch slices.

3In a medium bowl, toss apples with lemon juice.

4In 10-inch skillet, combine sugar, corn syrup and 3/4 cup of water. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.

5Boil, uncovered, 2 to 3 minutes.

6Layer apple slices in skillet.

7Add remaining lemon juice in bowl.

8Cook over medium heat, uncovered, and turn several times for 5 minutes or until glazed and tender. Serves 6.
