- 1 Tbsp. cold water
- 1/4 c. Karo dark corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon or ginger
- 1 lb. carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
Directions

1In 1 1/2-quart microproof baking dish, stir cornstarch and water until smooth.

2Stir in corn, syrup, margarine and spice. Add carrots; toss to coat well.

3Cover.

4Microwave at High 6 to 9 minutes.

5Stir after 3 minutes; let stand 2 minutes.
