- 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. parsley (optional)
Directions

1Cut carrots in half crosswise, then lengthwise.

2Simmer, covered, in a small amount of salted water 10 minutes or to desired crispness.

3Drain.

4Melt butter.

5Stir in brown sugar until dissolved.

6Add carrots.

7Cook over medium heat approximately 10 minutes.
