- 1 lb. carrots, peeled and cut into 1/4's
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
Directions

1Boil 2 cups of water with 2 bouillon cubes.

2Add carrots, boil until water almost boils out (covered).

3Add 1 cup water and 1 bouillon cube and 1/4 cup brown sugar.

4Continue boiling until carrots are tender.

5Remove from heat and let stand covered 15 minutes then add remaining brown sugar.

6Stir, simmer until thick. Serve hot.
