- 1 lb. carrots, peeled and cut in slices
- 1 small onion, cut up
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Place carrots in large saucepan with 1-inch boiling water. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.

2Add onions.

3Cover and cook 5 minutes longer or until vegetables are just tender.

4Drain. Return vegetables to saucepan.

5Add margarine, brown sugar, ginger and salt.

6Stirring frequently, cook over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until vegetables are glazed.

7Makes about 4 cups.
