- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- ground cloves
- ground nutmeg
- 1/2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Cook carrots in salted water for 7 minutes or until they can be pierced with a fork.

2Pour off almost all water.

3Add brown sugar, several dashes of cloves and nutmeg and butter.

4Stir to coat carrots.

5Simmer for 3 minutes on medium to low heat.
