  • 2 fryers
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • paprika
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 1/4 c. apricot jam
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/4 c. vinegar

Directions

    Cut chicken into eighths.

    Place in a large baking dish, skin side down.

    Sprinkle with seasonings.

    Saute onions in oil.

    Add remaining ingredients and simmer 5 minutes.

    Pour ingredients over chicken and bake at 325° for 1 hour.

    Turn skin side up.

    Bake 20 minutes, basting frequently.
