  • 1-1/2 tsp.vinegar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Stir together and set aside.
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. grated lemon zest
  • 1-3/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp.baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp.baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp.salt

Directions

    Cream margarine and sugar until fluffy.Beat in egg and lemon zest.Sift dry ingredients add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.Beat after each addition.

    Drop by teaspoon 2 inches apart on a ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake in a 350 degree for 12 to 14 minutes.Remove from pan at once and brush with Lemon Glaze which is made from 3/4 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of lemon juice.
