  • 1/4 c. Wesson oil
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. white Karo
  • 1 qt. pecan halves
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Preheat oven to 300°.

    Heat oil and Karo in iron skillet, stirring to combine well.

    Add pecans and stir, coating well.

    Put this skillet into oven and roast, stirring every 15 minutes, until they are crisp.

    (Be cautious not to overheat nuts; they can burn if you overdo it.)

    Remove and pour onto waxed paper.

    Separate nuts and salt.
