Glazed Pork Chops

- 1 teaspoon butter
- 6 pork chops, 3/4 inch thick
- 1 cup water
- 1 package onion soup mix
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar (packed)
- 1 medium apple, cored and sliced
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons water
Directions

1Heat butter in skillet.

2Cook chops for 10 min, or until browned on both sides.

3Remove from pan.

4Add to pan, water, soup mix, and sugar.

5Stir well.

6Add apple, stir to coat with sauce.

7Heat to boiling, return chops.

8Reduce heat to low.

9Cover and cook on low for 10 minutes.

10Mix cornstarch with 2 T water.

11Remove chops and apples to platter.

12Bring sauce to a boil.

13Stir in cornstarch, until smooth.

14Spoon over pork and apples.
