- 3 Tbsp. oleo
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 can tomatoes, cut in small pieces
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 6 or more deviled eggs
- 1/2 c. buttered cracker crumbs (Waverly)
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- dash of salt and pepper
Directions

1Melt butter.

2Blend in flour. Add tomatoes, onions and seasonings.

3Cook and stir until thick. Spoon a little bit of the tomato mixture in bottom of a baking dish.

4Put eggs on top of this. Cover with remaining tomato mixture.

5Sprinkle cracker crumbs over the top and bake at 425° until crumbs begin to brown.
