- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 (4oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces
- 1 (20 oz.) can gluten steaks
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Saute onion in oil.

2Add mushrooms and simmer for 5 minutes, reserving mushroom liquid.

3Remove onions and mushrooms from pan. Dip steaks in beaten egg, then in bread crumbs and saute in oil. Place alternate layers of steaks, onions and mushrooms in buttered casserole.

4Mix liquid from steaks with mushroom liquid and sour cream; pour over casserole.

5Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
