- 3 pounds glutinous rice
- 3 cups coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 mangos Fresh, optional
Directions

1Soak the rice overnight in cold water.

2Drain the rice and then STEAM it for 20 minutes.

3While the rice is cooking, bring the other ingredients to a boil in a suitable saucepan.

4Put the steamed rice in a large bowl and pour the coconut milk mixture over it.

5Mix well.

6Let it stand for a while so the rice can absorb the liquid.

7You may then eat it as is, or, as we prefer, introduce large chunks of freshly peeled mango fruit.
