Ingredients
- 12 slices bread with crusts removed (I used more bread)
- 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- salt to taste (I didn't use any)
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 onion, chopped finely (I used celery and peppers, too)
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (I used more, can use ham or shrimp)
Directions

1Grease pan.

2Place 6 slices of bread in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan (fill all spaces).

3Spread grated cheese, celery, green pepper and/or onions.

4Spread bacon, ham or shrimp.

5Top with remaining bread.

6Mix eggs, milk, mustard and salt.

7Pour over bread.

8Make sure it is all wet and covered.

9(Can top with tomato slices, if desired; I didn't.)

10Put in refrigerator overnight.

11Bake at 350° for 45 to 55 minutes.

12Let sit 10 minutes and serve.
