  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) jar Ragu thick and hearty with mushrooms
  • 1 (8 oz.) box lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1/4 tsp. minced garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 large container (24 oz.) cottage cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Brown ground chuck in frying pan with minced garlic; salt and pepper.

    Drain off any grease.

    Add jar of Ragu and simmer. Meanwhile, cook noodles according to directions.

    Do not overcook. Run cold water over noodles, so they won't stick.

    Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch casserole dish.

    Mix cottage cheese and egg together in separate bowl.

    Layer lasagna beginning with noodles on bottom, cottage cheese, Mozzarella, sauce and Parmesan cheese.

    Repeat. Bake at 300° for 35 to 40 minutes.
