- 1 cup Plain White Or Yellow Fine Ground Corn Meal
- 1 cup Water
- Salt To Taste

1Pour about an 1/4 inch of oil in an iron skillet or any skillet will work. While oil is getting hot, thoroughly mix corn meal and water. Drop a heaping tablespoon of the corn meal mixture into the oil and fry until edges begin to brown. If your corn meal mixture is too thick, just add a little water. Flip and brown both sides.

2Place on paper towels to absorb the oil. Sprinkle lightly with salt. Yum yum! (When you salt them, they taste like a giant Fritos.)
