  • 1 pkg. (14 oz.) Kraft caramels
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions

    Melt caramels with evaporated milk over low heat.

    (keep warm) Mix cake mix with butter, milk and nuts by hand.

    Mix will be sticky.

    Put in oblong greased and floured cake pan.

    Bake 9 minutes at 350F.

    Sprinkle crust with chocolate chips.

    Pour caramel mix over this and bake 18 minutes at 350F.
