  • 1 box cake mix (lemon or yellow)
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 box powdered sugar, reserving 2 Tbsp.

Directions

    Mix cake mix, margarine and 1 egg with fork and pat into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and 2 eggs.

    Pour over cake mixture and bake at 350° for 25 or 30 minutes.

    When done, sprinkle with powdered sugar and chopped nuts, if desired.
